Today we present to you the book Sea of Hope by Mrs. Barbara Ma. Barbara, together with her niece Tiffany Ma, wrote a book about her family’s story — how they managed to escape from Vietnam and eventually found themselves in America.
We took care of the cover design as well as the entire interior layout. But for us, that wasn’t the most important part. Through this process, we had the opportunity to read the gripping story of her mother and father, who gathered their belongings, placed their children into a small boat, and set off into the sea, ultimately ending up in a camp in Malaysia.
How familiar these stories feel in today’s world…
We truly feel honored to have contributed in our own small way to this project, even if our part was the most pleasant chapter of the journey.
